My job is a vet

In 2019 we asked the local Halfmoon Bay Schools students to tell us about the year 2050 and what the island is like now we have a Predator Free Rakiura.

It is the year 2050, my name is Tessa. I am 39 years old.

I think that predator free Rakiura will be better for the animals...I hope that we can all make predator free Stewart Island work

My job is a vet on Stewart Island and the animals I am going to look after are:

- People's pets

- Kakapo

- Saddlebacks

- Bellbird

- Silvereye

- Penguin

- Kiwi

- Sea life

- ALL ANIMALS

I think that predator free Rakiura will be better for the animals because their habitats will not get destroyed by pests.

I hope we can all make predator free Stewart Island work.
