Hannah McLeod - Communications & Engagement Manager

I've got a passion for storytelling, engaging with my local Murihiku community, and celebrating our awesome region. 

Born and raised in the deep south, I grew up in Invercargill, Riverton, and Tuatapere, and had the privilege of visiting Stewart Island multiple times as a teenager, then again at the beginning of my career as a reporter for The Southland Times.

Since then, I've been involved in Communications and Engagement in local government and in the health sector.

When I'm not busy working, you can usually find me in the bush - generally in western or southern Southland - hunting and exploring.

I'm incredibly excited about the vision of a Predator Free Rakiura, and can't wait to get to know the community, and the land!
